Child Therapy

Child therapy facilitates the development of emotional intelligence, self-awareness, empathy, competency to be with emotions and reduces the probability of developing unhealthy coping mechanisms.

 

We will work to resolve issues and increase your child’s somatic awareness, self-esteem, emotional awareness, positive social skills, and communication of their emotional experience.

Our approaches include play therapy, sandtray, somatic awareness, EMDR child therapy, trauma-informed expressive arts therapy, attachment therapy, and mindfulness.

Through counseling sessions, Sarah can help you sort through your options, set meaningful goals and navigate stressors along the way so that young adulthood becomes more manageable and even exciting.
